Keyword research

Find what people search for, how hard it is to rank, and what Google shows today — then write for it.

Open Keywords in the sidebar. The data comes from DataForSEO (Google search data); nothing is estimated by AI.

Research

Enter a keyword, choose the country and language, and search. You get the keyword's monthly searches, difficulty, cost per click, search intent and 12-month trend, plus related ideas you can sort and filter.

  • Difficulty is 0–100: under 30 is easy, 30–49 possible, 50–69 hard, 70+ very hard. New sites should start under 30.
  • Top 10 shows the pages ranking on Google today and the “People also ask” questions.
  • Write opens a new AI article with the keyword filled in. Tick Analyse Google's current top 10 and the brief is planned to cover what ranking pages cover and answer those questions — without copying them.

Your rankings

Pick a website to see the keywords it already ranks for in Google's top 100. Positions 4–20 are usually the quickest wins: update those pages first. Sites on private addresses (like a local test install) have no rankings.

Competitor gap

Enter a competitor's domain to list the keywords they rank for on Google's first two pages that your website does not rank for at all. Save the ones that fit and write them.

Saved keywords

Save keywords to a shared list, assign them to a website and track them from Idea to Published. Starting an article from a saved keyword links them and marks it In progress; it becomes Published when the article is verified live.

Topic groups

In Saved keywords, choose Group by topic. Keywords about the same thing are grouped (more than half their words in common, or one fully inside another). Write one article for the group targets the biggest keyword and asks the article to answer the others too — one strong page instead of several competing ones.

Rank tracking

Select saved keywords that have a website and choose Track rankings. Each is checked on Google (top 100, desktop) once a week and shows its position and the change since the last check. Your plan sets how many keywords can be tracked; tracking does not use lookups.

Select several saved keywords and choose Write AI drafts to start up to 20 drafts at once, each linked to its keyword.

Lookups

Each search, each Top 10 and each rankings load uses one lookup from your plan, shown at the top of the page. Saving and filtering are free. Failed lookups are not counted.
